All our storage options have the benefit of constant 24/7 CCTV. The yard is protected with a gate code access gate and with different storage types, having different personal access codes to reach each area of the yard and to get into your own storage.
One of our most popular storage option is storage units. As seen, we have multiple different sizes of storage units which can be leased. These go very quickly and are very popular
with self employed people as it is a good way to make them an office base or free up more space so that there is a delegated office space back at their house. Or as spoken about in the previous article, creating this into a personalised office and workshops.
Even having one of our smaller storage unit options just by utilising your space and by packing storage boxes up properly and with a storage system to keep all your items accessible by knowing what is in what box, this can help maximise your space to the max, so even for one of our smaller units it may be just the perfect size you need!
Containers
Containers have become another popular choice of storage due to its hassle-free nature and being easy fitting everything you need into it. At Oldbury Storage we offer a brand new 20 foot shipping container, this is easy to put into proportion by comparing it to a standard single-car Garage, or the size of an average bedroom. With the container offering approximately the same floor area as the bedroom, only it would have lower ceilings.
Containers are also becoming popular due to the drive-up access. Containers are very convenient for loading and unloading into them for storage which helps particularly for heavy items or lots of items as this would free up the hassle of going back and forth with a long walk in between from the storage units.
Another benefit of choosing a container is that this would be the best storage for climate control. Whilst our containers are not airtight they do keep sealed shut and are not opened or disturbed unless you are opening it yourself to check or go back in to get something out. These have previously (and still are!) Been perfect storage for people who are moving house or need extra house space for excess furniture or for relatives furniture which needs sorting. It keeps furniture safe and secure and as long as the door is not being opened and closed too often it keeps all the damp and wet out and perfect climate for keeps furniture safe and mould free. We always advise to wrap the furniture for protection before storage for that added security.
They can be perfect to store pretty much anything. The only thing that cannot be kept in containers are perishable food, hazardous materials, plants and any flammable items.
Caravan, Motorhome and Vehicle Storage.
Also, here at Oldbury Storage we offer Storage for cars, motorhomes, caravans. With the ideal location being close to the M4 and M5 storing caravans, the location of the yard has proven ideal, being local to homes but also close to the motorway for a quick turnaround to get to the holiday destination. During the winter season and when caravans/motorhomes are not being used it is essential to have a safe and secure place to store them. With the added security measures and CCTV that we can provide and code access gate, add to peace of mind that vehicles are safe and secure.
